This logo is for Needles and Pens, and it's an independent bookstore that sells handmade artwork, books, and zines. I think this logo works well for them because you can definitely tell there is a handmade quality of what's being sold, the logo itself looks at though (and probably is) it's carved out a linoleum block and printed on a press. The smudge marks and imperfections look intentional, and not overly messy, just like an actual printed block would look. This logo accurately relays a certain level of craft to whoever's viewing it, and the audience will know that the business sells artwork and books that are both high quality and handmade.
